John Albert Laylo, a 35-year-old Filipino lawyer, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 19, 2022. Laylo and his mother, Leah Laylo, were in an Uber on their way to Philadelphia International Airport when a gunman opened fire on their vehicle around 4 a.m. near 38th and Spruce streets.
