Shawn L. Grant Jr., a 16-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was killed late on Monday, July 11, 2022, in North Philadelphia. The shooting unfolded around 11:30 p.m. near the 2800 block of West Diamond Street, in the area of North 28th Street and West Diamond Street, after police received numerous 911 calls and officers in the area heard multiple gunshots.
