On November 30, 2022, 27-year-old Wakiel Jones Jr., a male of African American ethnicity from Lancaster, PA, was found unresponsive in the streets with apparent injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical workers. An autopsy revealed that Jones Jr. died from a gunshot wound to the head, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
