Patrolman Dominick John Boscarelli, aged 24, was a dedicated officer with the Olmsted Township Police Department in Ohio. Tragically, he lost his life on August 22, 1979, due to an accidental gunshot wound in the police locker room. The incident occurred when a gun discharged inadvertently. Dominick had served with the Olmsted Township Police Department for six months and had also worked with the Cleveland Police Department for a year. He was survived by his parents.
