On June 26, 2011, Martez Norwood, age 26, was found dead along with Charles Reid in a residence on Westmoreland Avenue in Detroit. The Detroit Police and Fire Departments responded to a call around 6:50 a.m., where both men were discovered inside the location. It was reported that the two were victims of a double homicide. The case remains unsolved, and Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
