Kelvin Wheeler Jr., a 34-year-old educator and youth pastor, was tragically killed on July 8, 2020, in Detroit, Michigan. Wheeler, who was the dean of students at Triumph Middle School in Harper Woods and a father to an 8-year-old son, was stopped at a red light on Livernois and Ewald Circle when an unknown assailant approached his vehicle and fired multiple shots through the front windshield.
