Timothy Ray Russell, a 43-year-old African American man, tragically died on November 29, 2012, in Cleveland, OH. His death was the result of a police shooting incident that occurred at the end of a 22-minute police chase. Russell was driving a 1979 Chevrolet Malibu with Malissa Williams, a 30-year-old African American woman, as a passenger. The chase began in downtown Cleveland and ended in East Cleveland, where over 60 police officers surrounded Russell and Williams' vehicle.
