On December 9, 2013, Matthew Ryan Huffman, a 28-year-old resident of Cleveland, Ohio, was robbed and murdered at the West Park rapid station located on Lorain Avenue. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m., and Matthew was pronounced dead shortly after police responded to the scene. He was known to have been targeted by robbers while near the station, resulting in a fatal outcome.
