On February 22, 2023, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Cleveland police responded to reports of gunfire in the parking lot of a Starbucks located at 11623 Clifton Boulevard in the Edgewater neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Caleb Emmanuel Kelley with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
