Kendrick Brown, a 35-year-old African American man from Cleveland, OH, died on September 2, 2014, as a result of an officer-involved shooting. Police were called to East 140th Street around 9:15 a.m. for a report of a man shooting at another man. When officers arrived, they encountered Brown, who allegedly pointed a gun at them. In response, an officer fired three shots at Brown, who was later pronounced dead at MetroHealth Medical Center.
