Melissa V. Nilson, a 26-year-old woman from Huber Heights, OH, tragically lost her life on February 21, 2014. She was shot and killed outside her home, leaving behind a young son and a grieving family. The police identified her boyfriend, Ryan D. Mitchell, as the primary suspect in her murder. Mitchell, who was 28 years old at the time, was later arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including murder.
