George Walker Jr., a 20-year-old African American male from Springfield, OH, tragically died on May 30, 2014. He was a standout high school athlete with plans to play football at Georgia Military College. Walker was shot near the intersection of Grand and Lowry avenues in Springfield and later succumbed to his injuries at Springfield Regional Medical Center.
