Damarcus Buress, a 25-year-old male from Dayton, Ohio, tragically died on July 7, 2015. He was fatally shot inside a car at East Third Street and North Delmar Avenue in Dayton. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery, where Buress was targeted for a quarter-ounce of marijuana. Carlos Craig, one of the suspects, admitted to shooting Buress and was later sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for murder, aggravated robbery, discharge of a firearm, and felonious assault.
