Sarah Beacher, a 31-year-old mother of five, was tragically shot and killed on August 11, 2015, while sitting on her friend's porch in an east Toledo neighborhood. The bullet, which was not intended for her, struck her in the head. Sarah had just put her children to bed before the incident occurred. Her death has been ruled a homicide by the Lucas County coroner.
