Ashley Morris Fonseca, 37, a Hispanic woman from Toledo, was shot inside her apartment on the morning of June 25, 2025, and was pronounced dead the following evening, June 26, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. The Lucas County Coroner determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and ruled the manner of death a homicide.
