Jennifer Abshire, a 44-year-old special needs teacher from Akron, Ohio, tragically lost her life on August 12, 2015. She was found stabbed to death inside her home on Moonlight Drive in Springfield Township. Jennifer was a dedicated educator who had been teaching in Akron Public Schools for 16 years, with the last nine years spent at Betty Jane CLC Elementary School. Her vibrant personality and ability to see the good in others were remembered fondly by her family and colleagues.
