Crista Virginia Nitz, a 41-year-old woman from Middletown, Ohio, tragically died on April 30, 2017. She was found dead in her bathroom by her 11-year-old daughter, who had called the police after hearing a loud sound and finding her mother shot in the head. Crista and her husband, Bobby Jo Nitz, had been arguing before the incident. Bobby Jo Nitz fled the scene on his motorcycle but was later arrested in Meigs County after a chase.
