Teresa Shields, a 26-year-old woman from Middletown, Ohio, tragically lost her life on January 1, 2017. She was in a vehicle with her boyfriend, Steve Waldon, when they were attacked by gunfire. Shields was not the intended target; the attack was aimed at Waldon, who was involved in the drug trade. Despite her boyfriend's involvement in illegal activities, Shields was trying to help him leave that life behind. Unfortunately, she paid the ultimate price for her efforts.
