On May 18, 2017, Kaiden Daniel Helton, a 6-year-old boy from Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost his life after being shot in the head by his mother, Claudena Helton. Kaiden's sister, 8-year-old Khmorra, also succumbed to her injuries a few days later. The siblings were found in critical condition at their home on Lori Sue Avenue and were rushed to Dayton Children's Hospital, where they later passed away.
