Justin F. Kendrix, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on July 9, 2017, in Columbus, OH. Kendrix was fatally shot at the Autumn Springs Apartments on Floral Circle South. He was transported to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital and later to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m. Another individual, Shaunika Eakins, 37, was also injured in the incident but survived.
