On May 23, 2014, 52-year-old African American male Donald Jerome Wade, affectionately known as 'Little Man,' was shot at 1285 E. 17th Avenue in the South Linden neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. He succumbed to his injuries the following day, May 24, 2014, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.
