De'Vonte Lamar West, a 24-year-old African American male from Warren, Ohio, tragically died on August 3, 2017. His death was ruled a homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds. West was driving a car that crashed on Southern Boulevard near Solar Street Northwest when he and two other passengers, Brandy M. Joseph and Ju'Wantae A. Harbin , were found shot. West and Joseph were pronounced dead at the scene, while Harbin later died at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
