David Lee Owens III, 31, male, Black/African American, left home in the early hours of August 3, 2025, and crossed paths with a crowd outside the Convenient Food Mart at Elm Road NE and Larchmont Avenue in Warren. By dawn the lot was alive with small talk, food, and a sidewalk dice game. A quarrel flared.
