Robert H. Robinson III, a 25-year-old African American male from Springfield, Ohio, tragically died on August 10, 2017, from injuries sustained from gunshots by unknown assailants. He was found shot in the head and lying across the driver and passenger seat in an SUV that had crashed into a tree at the intersection of Clifton Avenue and East John Street. The incident occurred around 8 p.m., and witnesses reported seeing a man walking up to the SUV and opening fire before fleeing the scene.
