Tyrone Armstrong, an 18-year-old male from Toledo, OH, tragically lost his life on December 5, 2017. Tyrone was sitting in a parked car with 25-year-old Chantel Flee when they were fired upon multiple times by an unknown suspect. The incident occurred at the 1500 block of Vance Street near Junction just after 10:00 a.m. Both victims were taken to nearby hospitals, where Tyrone was later pronounced dead at Mercy St.
Vincent's Hospital, while Chantel was taken to Toledo Hospital.
The Lucas County Coroner's Office ruled Tyrone's death a homicide, as he succumbed to two gunshot wounds to the back. Despite extensive investigations, police have not identified any suspects or vehicles involved in the shooting.
