DeShawn Gott, a 21-year-old African American male from Toledo, Ohio, tragically lost his life on January 23, 2018. He was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting incident that took place around 10 p.m. near Woodland and City Park. When Toledo Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they found Gott slumped over in a car, which had since left the scene. The vehicle was later found at Toledo Hospital, where Gott was pronounced dead.
