Esteban Hernandez Jimenez, age 49, was killed on April 15, 2013, in San Diego, California. The incident took place in Vista, where Jimenez was found with severe injuries resulting from a shooting. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department responded to a call, and upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Esteban with life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts by paramedics, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
