Ismael Ramirez, a 35-year-old Hispanic man from San Diego, was killed just after midnight on November 8, 2025, in the shadow of the Ocean Beach Pier. In the early hours of that Saturday, the stillness along the waterfront was broken by the sound of gunfire.
