Rodney Leidig, an 18-year-old resident of San Diego, was fatally shot on April 9, 1998. The incident occurred at the intersection of Treewood and Sweetwood Streets. Leidig and two friends were standing on the sidewalk when two suspects began firing at them from the yard of a nearby house.
