Londale Harvey, an 18-year-old male from Hamilton, Ohio, tragically lost his life on January 26, 2019. He was shot in a drive-by shooting near Pleasant and Fairview avenues. Harvey was known for his bright personality and love for music, and his untimely death deeply affected his community.
Following the incident, two men, Damone Davis and Tai'je Goolsby, were indicted on multiple charges related to Harvey's murder.
The charges included murder, felonious assault, participating in a criminal gang, and having weapons under disability. Despite the efforts of first responders, Harvey succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The case remained unsolved for several years until June 2023, when Davis and Goolsby were formally indicted. Davis, now 25, pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently being held on a $1 million bond for an unrelated drug case.
