Tiffany Yvette Moreland, a 38-year-old woman from Dayton, OH, tragically died on April 14, 2019. She was shot in the chest inside her apartment during an argument with her husband, Task Tresonard Moreland Jr., who was also 38 years old at the time. The police found a 9mm semi-automatic handgun at the scene. Tiffany was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the incident, Task Moreland Jr. was indicted on two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault.
The Montgomery County Grand Jury issued an arrest warrant for him, and he was later found guilty of the charges in July 2022. In February 2023, Task Moreland Jr. was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison, plus an additional three years for firearm specifications.
