Monica E. Brickhouse, a 39-year-old woman from Springfield, Ohio, tragically lost her life on August 4, 2019, in Dayton, Ohio. She was one of nine victims killed in the Oregon District shooting, which also left 26 others injured. Monica was out with her friend, Beatrice Curtis, enjoying a night out when the shooting occurred. The suspected shooter, Connor Betts, was killed by police shortly after the attack.
