Sebastian M. Watkins, a 34-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on June 3, 2019. Watkins was visiting a relative at an apartment complex in the Franklinton neighborhood when an argument erupted. During the altercation, Alexis Byrd, 38, took out a gun and shot Watkins multiple times. Responding officers found Watkins on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
