In the warm afternoon of a Saturday in Lauderhill, Florida, the life of 17-year-old Antonio Neeley, Jr., a young man known to some as 'Rasta Tony,' was tragically cut short by gunfire. On that day, police responded to reports of gunshots in the 5300 block of Northwest 27th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Neeley lying in the doorway of a residence, having sustained fatal gunshot injuries.
The investigation into the shooting led to the apprehension of three individuals. Michael Edwards, 20, Xavier Stroman, 20, and Marie Derival, 19, were arrested and faced charges in connection with Neeley's death.
