Jamil Goodwin, a 43-year-old resident of Detroit, Michigan, was killed on March 11, 2016, in a drive-by shooting that occurred on the city's west side. The tragic incident took place while Goodwin was sitting on a porch with three others on Hazelwood Street, between Linwood and Chicago Boulevard.
