On June 27, 2019, 37-year-old Jerome Young was tragically shot and killed in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. on Back Street, where Young was walking with a woman. Surveillance footage from the area captured the moment several shots were fired, and Young fell to the ground. He was quickly rushed to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival.
