On September 18, 2019, Toledo police detectives issued arrest warrants for Kenneth Allison, 20, and Edward Reese, 24, charging them with murder. Both suspects were taken into custody, with Allison apprehended by the Toledo SWAT team and Reese already in custody on unrelated charges. Additionally, Carlson Brown, 25, was arrested on July 22, 2019, initially on felonious assault charges, which were later upgraded to murder by a Lucas County grand jury.
