Javon Jones, a 24-year-old man from Dayton, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on August 2, 2019, outside a social club called the Blue Room on North James H. McGee Boulevard. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. when Jones was found in the parking lot with gunshot wounds to the chest and face. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
