On January 22, 2007, Durrel Lamar Wright was tragically killed in Dayton, Ohio. He was only 21 years old at the time of his death. Wright had graduated from Patterson Career Center in 2005, and his sudden and violent death left his family and community in shock. He was described as someone who had a bright future and many dreams, but his life was cut short under violent circumstances that remain unsolved.
