Anthony Bowers, a 29-year-old man from Youngstown, OH, was tragically shot and killed on August 18, 2019. He was found lying in the middle of Sherwood Avenue with gunshot wounds to the neck and chest. Despite being rushed to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

The incident occurred after Youngstown police received reports of gunfire in the area, which led them to Bowers using their "Shot Spotter" technology. The circumstances surrounding his death have led to ...
