Zachary Roger Hoeft, a 28-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on September 25, 2019, in Columbus, Ohio. He was fatally shot at the McDonald's restaurant located at 2520 South Hamilton Road around 1:15 a.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found Hoeft lying between the drive-thru ordering stations, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Mt. Carmel East Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries at 1:49 a.m.
