Jabri Russell Curry, a 25-year-old African American man from Columbus, OH, tragically died on November 20, 2019. He was found shot in an apartment on the Hilltop neighborhood after answering a knock at the door. The initial investigation suggested that an unidentified gunman fired at him, fatally wounding him. Curry was transported to Grant Medical Center in extremely critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
