On November 29, 2024, at approximately 10:15 a.m., 48-year-old Monroe "Terrill" Brown was fatally shot in the 1700 block of East Main Street in Columbus, Ohio. Another individual involved in the incident sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Columbus police have indicated that robbery may have been the motive behind the shooting. As of December 2, 2024, no suspects had been charged in connection with the case.
