Kenneth Rashawn Palmer, a 31-year-old African American man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2021. Palmer was shot and killed during a dispute that began at a New Year's Eve party hosted by Derrick Green, 30, in southeast Columbus. The altercation continued into the early hours of the morning, leading to Palmer being shot multiple times. He was rushed to Grant Medical Center but was pronounced dead at 4:37 a.m.
