Timothy Norman White, III, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Lima, Ohio, tragically passed away on February 4, 2020. Timothy was born on July 27, 1994, and was a 2013 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He is survived by his parents, Timothy N. White, Jr. and Checole S. McGraw, as well as his siblings and his daughter.

The circumstances surrounding Timothy White's death were part of a larger incident that occurred outside Levels Lounge in downtown Lima. On the morning of February 4, 2020, Timothy White shot and killed Devontae Upshaw and his own brother, Terell McGraw, just inside the front door of the bar. Following the shooting, Timothy White exited the bar and was pursued by Deontray Forrest, who fired several shots at him in the parking lot adjacent to the bar. Timothy White was found lying face down in the walkway leading from the parking lot to Main Street, having been shot in the chest and legs.

Deontray Forrest was arrested and charged with murder, felonious assault, and having weapons under disability. After a trial, Forrest was found guilty on all charges in May 2023. The prosecution argued that Forrest killed Timothy White in revenge for the deaths of his friend and another individual inside the bar. Forrest's defense claimed self-defense under Ohio's "Stand Your Ground" law, but the jury rejected this argument.

The case drew significant attention in Lima, with extensive testimony and video evidence presented during the trial. Ultimately, the jury's verdict brought some measure of justice for Timothy White and his family, although the loss of a young life remains a tragic event.
