James Arthur Ottinger, a 57-year-old man from McClure, Ohio, tragically passed away on June 5, 2020. He was known as a jack-of-all-trades and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His death was a result of a shooting incident at his home on County Road 6, southeast of McClure.

The case was investigated by the Henry County Sheriff’s office, Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification, and the prosecutor’s office. Randall Ottinger pled not guilty to the charges and was held on a $500,000 cash bond.
