On August 6, 2020, 29-year-old Christopher Catching, a Black male, was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. Columbus Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 1223 Berwick Arms Place at approximately 5:36 PM. Upon arrival, they found Catching suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:45 PM.
