On the evening of September 4, 2020, Cincinnati police responded to reports of gunfire around 7:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of Gilbert Avenue in the Evanston neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Dominique Davis, a male, inside a vehicle, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services transported him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day, September 5, 2020.
