Charles Jeffrey Shaw Jr., a 24-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on March 18, 2021. He was found deceased in front of the Wedgewood Apartments in the Hilltop area after neighbors reported hearing gunshots around 6:47 a.m. Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene by Columbus Fire medics. The incident marked the 41st homicide in Columbus that year.
