Hershawna Rias, a 17-year-old Black girl from Cleveland, OH, tragically lost her life on April 8, 2021. Her body was discovered in Martin Luther King Park on Cleveland's east side, with multiple gunshot wounds to her head. The discovery was made by park personnel around 11:40 a.m. Rias had been reported missing just two days prior, on April 6, 2021.
